Deborah C. McNamara, MA is a writer, sustainability educator and activist, and mother of three young boys in Boulder, Colorado. She is the author of the book, The Invitation of Motherhood: Uncovering the Spiritual Lessons of Parenting, which was a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards in the Women’s Issues and Spirituality categories.
She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Boston University and an M.A. in Environmental Leadership from Naropa University, where she also has served as an adjunct faculty member. Over the past twenty years, Deborah has devoted her career to working with organizations and initiatives dedicated to catalyzing positive personal and societal transformation. She is also a certified yoga teacher, having taught classes and retreats on and off since 2004.
She presently is Co-Executive Director of the non-profit ClimateVoice, focused on climate change solutions and working to catalyze the transition towards a more livable climate and sustainable future.
