Come Back Now

A poem on coming back to bright spaces after difficulty.

Come back now,
join this spark.
Be vibrant.
Laugh at little things
even while making space
for the darkest corners.

Grieve now,
the real kind,
the kind that transforms
familiar patterns
perhaps comfortable
but still a vaneer above.

Be open
(to all the things)
but find the deepest layer.
Let go now
into this safety net
of Self,
not always seen
but still there.

Hold up the light here,
ready to give away
like golden honey,
sweet like life…
